All courses within our online marketing programs are available to the general public. Students have the opportunity to attend in-person classes, study at their own pace through online courses or combine the two. There are four steps to earning a marketing certification.
OMI has a variety of marketing certifications. Choose the certification program that best suits you.
Once enrolled, students may choose from online courses and available in-person workshops. Each level requires students to complete seven credits of core courses and three elective credits, a total of ten classes. To see required and elective courses, see Level descriptions.
In-Person Workshops
The Institute offers live courses at many online marketing conferences and events across the country alongside the Online Marketing Summit. Students have the option to attend these workshops while enjoying the additional educational and networking benefits of a full event.
Online Study
Online course content is accessible via any web browser. Students can start and pause learning at anytime, interact with course materials and take the final exam. Earn some or all of your credits online. There are no time constraints on courses, allowing students to learn quickly or slowly. Through online courses, students can focus on what they need, skipping repeat sections and material that they already understand. Each student is in control of their own learning, choosing where, when and how they learn with unlimited access to online course contact 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
When the required coursework is completed, students must then pass a final examination. The final exam is a review of the coursework and comprises 50 multiple-choice questions. Students may re-take the exam, if necessary. Once they pass the exam, students earn a prestigious marketing certification that will enable a more prosperous career.
